'Mondo So Far' – Curated by Olly Moss
As part of this year’s Thought Bubble Festival, White Cloth Gallery and Thought Bubble are delighted to present a special exhibition curated by Olly Moss on behalf of Mondo – The Texan art-house and film poster specialist.
This exhibition will be the first ever showing of Moss’ work in the UK, along with a selection of other Mondo artists, and a unique opportunity for fans of pop culture, graphic art or simply beautiful images to see these pictures first-hand.
Mondo So far Charity Launch Night* Friday 16th November, 7pm till late.
Ticket price £10
Ticket includes:
A glass of wine on arrival.
Entry into a prize draw for a golden ticket - Olly will design a poster for whatever film the winner chooses**
One of 10 signed 'Silhouettes from Popular Culture hard covers' by Olly Moss
Q and A with Mondo Creative Director Justin Ishmael and guests.
Live movie poster art which will be auctioned off at the end of the evening.
More announcements will also be made closer to the event.
*50% of the ticket price will be donated to Barnardo's. PURCHASE OF TICKETS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 2 PER CUSTOMER. Please print and retain your booking confirmation as proof of purchase.
**Please note: One ticket per customer for the raffle. People must attend on the evening and enter their ticket in to the raffle personally for the chance to win any of the prizes.
We strongly recommend that you purchase your tickets for this event in advance. Whilst tickets are available on the door for most launch nights, we do anticipate that this event will sell out and would not like you to be disappointed. Once sold out we will be operating a ‘one-out, one-in’ policy on the door.
For anyone who misses out on a ticket for this event, Olly Moss will attend the Thought Bubble comic con 17-18 November, table 22 in Royal Armouries Hall.
The exhibition will be open to the public from the 17th November - 2nd December 2012.
