This exhibition from acclaimed photographer Ewen Spencer unveiled what it is to be young. The exhibition consisted of a series of images taken in and around the country and encompasses the artist’s profound interest in youth and street culture. Shot in Spencer’s signature flash photography style, the candid photographs show Britain’s youth in action as they make the transition from children to young adults and how they approach the sensitive issues of sex and socialising. This exhibition proved to be strikingly intimate and somewhat shocking as the images showed what may be described as the shocking behaviour that goes on behind closed doors of teenage life.
